A new report has revealed an update on WWE Raw star Chad Gable of American Made wrestling in Lucha Libre AAA plans.
After falling short in matches against Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee and most recently Penta in WWE, Chad Gable announced on Raw that he was set for a leave of absence in order to “conquer the dark arts of Lucha Libre”.
As previously mentioned, Gable was reportedly planned to head to the AAA promotion during his absence from WWE TV.
However, it was then revealed that the plans for the American Made leader to go to AAA had been scrapped, which you can read at this link here.
On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez provided an update on the plans for Chad Gable wrestling in AAA. He said:
“By the way, the story with Chad Gable – he is not going to AAA. But, how can I say this… I’ll put it this way – he’s not going to AAA, but there is a reason that story came out. And they did have a plan involving a luchador mentoring Chad Gable. But the fact is, it may or may not still be happening.”
Gable last appeared on WWE programming during a backstage segment on the February 3 edition of Raw on Netflix.
