Stephanie Vaquer cleared to return: Will WWE Raw match with Becky Lynch determine the number one contender or set up War Games?

After suffering an injury at WWE Money In The Bank, Stephanie Vaquer will return to the ring on next week’s episode of Raw.

Stephanie won back her Women’s World Championship from Liv Morgan on a live event in Chile, with Stephanie then dropping the title back to Liv at Money In The Bank.

It was reported following the show that Stephanie suffered an injury during the match, though she wasn’t out for very long, as she returned to the ring at WWE’s recent live event in Hawaii.

Stephanie Vaquer cleared for return

Despite Stephanie returning to the ring last weekend, she was still not cleared to return during her backstage segment with Becky Lynch on the show.

However, Stephanie has now officially been cleared to return to the ring, with Raw General Manager Adam Pearce announcing that Stephanie and Becky would face off on next week’s episode of Raw, with the winner being crowned number one contender for Liv Morgan’s Women’s World Championship.

Another big TV match to end in a non-finish?

Prior to Money In The Bank, Becky and Liv also faced off on Raw to determine who would face Stephanie at Money In The Bank, which went to a non-finish leading to a Triple Threat at Money In The Bank.

This was on top of the recent major main events on SmackDown over the WWE Championship, where CM Punk, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Gunther and Finn Balor have all wrestled to either non-finishes or disqualification finishes, as well as the 946 and the Bloodline going to a non-finish in last week’s WWE Raw main event.

WWE’s continued insistence to protect everyone on the roster has led to a lot of the television becoming uneventful, and it seems that with Becky vs. Stephanie set for next week’s Raw, that trend isn’t set to change.

Becky Lynch & Stephanie Vaquer on the same War Games team?

As both Stephanie and Becky chase Liv Morgan and the Judgment Day, the group will likely get involved in the match to cause the non-finish.

With War Games just around the corner, the teams have now begun to form, with the Judgment Day set to face off against Chelsea Green, Tiffany Stratton, IYO SKY and two other names.

Despite their issues with each other, Becky and Stephanie will probably have to put those aside at Survivor Series.
