After a commanding performance on tonight’s WWE SmackDown (October 23), Blake Monroe has made it clear that she is a force on the main roster.
With the former AEW star picking up another victory of Giulia on the episode, she didn’t pick up any victory but rather, bested Giulia in a brutal Street Fight.
Blake Monroe stands out on WWE SmackDown
Blake Monroe made an impact during her first appearance in a SmackDown ring on June 26, attacking Giulia
With Monroe’s latest victory being particuarly powerful in establishing her place on the roster, there could definitely be a big storyline in her future.
While their inevitable in-ring match was delayed, by the time the pair of Giulia and Blake Monroe were showcased in battle, it was a hard-hitting and memorable affair.
If this is an indication of what’s to come, The Glamour could be one of the most interesting additions to WWE’s women’s division.
Bringing her talents to the main roster
Arriving.in WWE with already plenty of experience from both STARDOM and AEW as Mariah May, the star has reinvented herself as The Glamour in NXT.
Taking many of the most intriguing character traits from her former iterations, Blake Monroe arrived on the main roster seemingly ready to rumble as a top star.
Able to accomplish something that not every NXT call-up can – Blake Monroe has a clearly defined character, distinct from the others already on the roster.
Bringing not only confidence and a penchant for violence, Monroe’s unabashed vanity makes for a compelling new type of character in the division, unafraid to proclaim her own excellence.
Main event contender
With Blake Monroe joining the WWE SmackDown women’s division at a fascinating time, there could be even more to come from Monroe.
Able to capitalize on the chaos surrounding the WWE Women’s Championship – with Chelsea Green serving as interim champ ahead of the return of Rhea Ripley, there’s another route for Monroe as well.
Certainly with the credentials to take on Jacy Jayne for the women’s United States Championship – there are a multitude of directions for Blake Monroe to go in order to maintain her momentum after picking up two wins over Giulia.
With the crowded field chasing Chelsea Green for the WWE Women’s Championship, now could be the perfect time for Monroe to strike.
Keep your enemies closer
After weeks of vignettes, Blake Monroe made her WWE SmackDown debut in a backstage segment with Chelsea Green on the May 22 episode of SmackDown
One path forward for Blake Monroe on SmackDown could be to find her way into the on-going tensions between Chelsea Green and Nikki Bella.
Able to use her abilities of deception to convince either Green or Bella that she was her newest and best friend, Blake Monroe could certainly find herself in the mix of the main event scene very soon.
