After two factions officially came together on this week’s AEW Dynamite, a new faction name has been revealed.
On this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, we found out what was next for Jon Moxley and the Death Riders.
After Moxley’s Continental Championship eliminator victory over Roderick Strong, the Death Riders were jumped by the Dogs, as well as the Bang Bang Gang joining in on the assault.
The two teams left the Death Riders laying, with Jay White, Juice Robinson, Ace Austin and the Gunns joining forces with the Dogs to form a new heel alliance.
The Dogs & Bang Bang Gang merge to form the Last Outfit
On tonight’s AEW Collision show, the new group came to the ring, where their new stable name was officially revealed.
Jay White announced that the new group would now be known as ‘The Last Outfit’, with him taking aim at Jon Moxley and the Continental Championship.
With the Bang Bang Gang and the Dogs being renamed, so ends any affiliation with the Bullet Club, with all branches of the group now officially over.
Can Jay White shake off injury concerns to reach his potential in AEW?
When Jay White left New Japan Pro Wrestling back in 2023, there was a lot of speculation about his future, with rumours that he was set to join WWE, but never ended up doing so due to a hiring freeze that was put in place after Vince McMahon forced his way back into the company and sold to Endeavor to form TKO.
After arriving in AEW on the Dynamite after WrestleMania 39, there were a lot of expectations on the former IWGP World Champion, but through no fault of his own, he has yet to reach those heights.
The only championship White has held during his time in AEW is the AEW World Trios Championship alongside the Bang Bang Gang, though has spent a lot of time out with injury, with him being sidelined for several months at least three times during his run, the longest being a 15 month absence from April 2025 until this year’s Forbidden Door event.
With a big match lined up for Full Gear against Jon Moxley and a new faction behind him, 2026 and 2027 could finally be the years that Jay White ascends to the top in AEW.
