WWE NXT star Jordynne Grace isn’t happy about not being on the card for next week’s NXT vs TNA Showdown show.
Grace was one of the first TNA talents who started making consistent appearances in WWE and on NXT, most notably as part of the 2024 Royal Rumble while she was TNA Knockouts World Champion and before the partnership between the companies was made official.
This past week on NXT, there was a backstage segment with Grace and Joe Hendry – another name who has spearheaded the crossovers – where Hendry accepted that he probably wasn’t going to be picked to represent either NXT or TNA due to question marks over where his allegiances lie.
Grace, however, doesn’t seem to be accepting the idea of sitting the show out, as in a new video on social media, she called out NXT General Manager Ava and TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella to “fix things” and add her to the show.
She said:
“Santino, Ava, there is a huge problem with Showdown next week. I’m not on it. I was trying to bite my tongue, but I just can’t anymore.
“There is no NXTNA without Jordynne Grace. There is no partnership. There are no cross-promotional champions.
“As a matter of fact, there is no Showdown without me setting the stage for it two years ago.
“And you guys let your team captains pick their team members, and they chose wrong.
“And Santino, letting Kelani Jordan be your TNA women’s captain after one TNA show? I’m gonna refer you to my neurologist, because I’m extremely concerned about you.
“I’m gonna say this as respectfully as I possibly can – you two need to fix this.”
