At TNA Bound For Glory 2026, Amazing Red defeated KC Navarro, Fabian Aichner, Rich Swann, BDE, Cedric Alexander and Ryan Nemeth to win the TNA X-Division Championship.
On the same night as his Hall of Fame induction, Red made history with starting his fourth reign with the X-Division gold.
Now that he has the title, Red could drop it to any number of talented members of the TNA Wrestling roster in the coming weeks and months.
Here are five potential options to become the nextTNA X-Division Champion after Amazing Red.
Cedric Alexander
In 2026, Cedric Alexander finally completed his journey to become TNA X-Division Champion.
Ending the historic reign of Leon Slater, Alexander showcased what has made him one of the most underrated in-ring competitors for years.
On the October 22 episode of TNA Thursday Night IMPACT, Alexander beat Fabian Aichner, Rich Swann and KC Navarro to become the number one contender for the X-Division Title.
Now that he has his opportunity, The System member could start a second run with the X-Division Championship by taking out Amazing Red.
Fabian Aichner
Since arriving in TNA Wrestling, Fabian Aichner has been on the hunt for the TNA X-Division Championship.
After getting his opportunities, Aichner has to be frustrated that he hasn’t gotten that all-important victory.
The former Giovanni Vinci has everything it takes to be a champion and may just be one more shot away from the gold.
With his combination of size, strength and athleticism, Aichner would make for an ideal TNA X-Division Champion if he can dethrone Amazing Red.
Ricky Sosa
After signing with TNA Wrestling in 2026, many fans now believe the sky is the limit for Ricky Sosa.
At just 21 years old, Sosa is one of the youngest members of the TNA roster right now.
Considering his rapid rise in wrestling, Sosa could join his friend Leon Slater by winning gold in his early years in the business.
Clashing with a legend like Amazing Red, Sosa might just have the speed, youth and size on his side that will make him the next TNA X-Division Champion somewhere down the line.
KC Navarro
KC Navarro is a protégé of Amazing Red, having gotten his start in pro wrestling thanks to the current TNA X-Division Champion.
Over the past year, Navarro has emerged as a rising star who feels on the cusp of championship gold.
After coming up short against Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Title and in the seven-way X-Division Title match at Bound For Glory 2026, Navarro might just need a singles bout against Amazing Red for a championship he has helped put on the map.
Navarro being the one to dethrone Red for the TNA X-Division Championship would be fitting and a true passing of the torch moment.
Avery Styles
Since signing with TNA Wrestling, Avery Styles has truly felt like a star on the rise in a major way.
At just 19 years, Styles is the youngest star in TNA today and has the lineage that he has to live up to.
With AJ Styles’ legacy as one of the greatest TNA Wrestling stars in company history, Avery has a huge shadow that will be over his career until he finds his own success.
“The Phenomenal Son” going on to win the TNA X-Division Championship feels appropriate and would put him directly in the spotlight where the second generation star belongs.
