Miss Money In The Bank Tiffany Stratton appeared on tonight’s SmackDown for the first time since winning the briefcase.
Tiffany became a two-time Money In The Bank winner at WWE Money In The Bank in New Orleans earlier this month, winning the titular Ladder match.
However, early in the match Tiffany took a terrifying bump to the outside, when she dove off a Ladder on the outside with a Swanton Bomb, taking out multiple competitors and hitting her head on the floor.
Last week on SmackDown, Tiffany did not appear on the show, with it being noted by Liv Morgan that she had been injured during the Ladder match.
Tiffany Stratton returns on WWE SmackDown
On tonight’s WWE SmackDown, Chelsea Green defended the WWE Women’s Championship against Roxanne Perez after Roxanne had pinned her two weeks ago on Raw.
The Judgment Day would appear at ringside to help Roxanne in the match, before IYO SKY would make the save for her latest best friend and help Chelsea defeat Roxanne to retain the title.
After the match, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez all got the jump on Chelsea and IYO before Tiffany Stratton made the save.
Tiffany would attempt to cash in her briefcase on Liv Morgan, but was ultimately unable to after the Judgment Day pulled Liv to safety.
The road to Survivor Series War Games begins
With two teams of three now forming just a month away from Survivor Series, it seems as though the build to this year’s Women’s War Games match has begun.
Chelsea Green is set to defend the WWE Women’s Championship next week against Nikki Bella amid the ongoing rivalry between the two, which would seemingly make Nikki a natural fit to join the heel team for the War Games match.
On the babyface side, the two most likely names would be Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer, as both women, while having issues with each other, continue to have issues with Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan.
There is no obvious choice for the final member of the heel team right now provided Brie Bella is not cleared to return in time for the match, though WWE could easily build up names like Lyra Valkyria or Blake Monroe to enter the match.
