After a new report details WWE being impressed by Nikki Bella, she should beat Chelsea Green now before Rhea Ripley returns.

WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella has been circling the WWE Women’s Championship for quite some time both feuding with Chelsea Green and Paige but now is the right time for her to capture gold.

WWE reportedly impressed

Recent backstage reports have noted that WWE higher-ups are impressed by Bella, for a very specific reason.

With WrestleVotes on Fightful noting that her social media impact and merch sales haven’t gone unnoticed.

Also noting that it wouldn’t be surprising to see Bella headed for a big storyline in the future, there weren’t further details shared.

However, an upcoming match could hold a clue after Chelsea Green offered Nikki Bella a title shot on the upcoming October 30 edition of WWE SmackDown.

Re-ignites feud with Liv Morgan

Former WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella could make for the perfect modern champion to bring together multiple feuds.

While capturing a win on October 30 would put her in place to re-ignite her feud with Liv Morgan at WWE Crown Jewel on November 7.

Settling the score between the duo or potentially setting up a brand new rivalry, there could also be some twin magic at Crown Jewel.

Although still not cleared for competition, Brie Bella recently revealed on her podcast with Nikki that she is able to begin working out again after suffering a broken shoulder at WWE SummerSlam.

Tees up a Tiffy cash-in

Another storyline benefit for Green to drop the WWE Women’s Championship to Nikki Bella – it provides a route forward for Tiffany Stratton’s Money in the Bank cash-in.

Rather than having to turn Tiffany Stratton heel by turning on pal Chelsea Green, Stratton could go on to unite with Green in the chase of Bella.

Giving Nikki Bella the opportunity to have a run as the interim WWE Women’s Champion right now also solves a very important future problem.

While Chelsea Green has done such an amazing job of telling both an interesting and emotionally powerful story in her time as champion, it is easy to forget that she is actually the interim WWE Women’s Champion.

Solves the Rhea Ripley problem

Meanwhile, never having vacated the title – the return of Rhea Ripley is looming.

However, fan favorite Ripley is unlikely to be positioned against fellow fan favorite babyfaces of the minute Tiffany Stratton and Chelsea Green – but Nikki Bella offers an out.

Able to see Rhea Ripley not only make her triumphant return from injury but also be the one to deliver brutal comeuppance to Bella – perhaps even a match at WWE Wrestlepalooza in December to unify the titles – is the perfect path forward.
