A former WWE star who was released by the company earlier this year has reflected on her return as part of NXT’s showdown with TNA Wrestling.
With NXT and TNA Wrestling set to come together for a Showdown event on October 7, a number of notable names from TNA have appeared on NXT TV in recent weeks.
One of these stars was Mara Sade, who returned to WWE on the September 30 NXT episode when she was chosen to represent Team TNA in a four-on-four match at Showdown.
Sade – who previously wrestled for WWE NXT as Jakara Jackson – has taken to Twitter to share several posts about her return.
She first shared a clip of her appearance with the caption:
Tonight was wild, but next week… I didn’t come back for nothin. #teamtna takin it ✔️
She also shared a photo of her former Meta-Four faction, writing:
Can’t help but reminisce 🧡💚💙🩷
More recently, Sade shared a photo of herself backstage in WWE following her return, posting:
Don’t worry I know my way around #teamTNA #MaraSade #nxtvstna
Sade was released by WWE in May, following four years with the company. She officially joined TNA in July, having already appeared for the company several times in March and April as part of the NXT-TNA crossover.
The eight-woman tag-team match set for Showdown will see Kelani Jordan, Jessie McKay, Cassie Lee and Mara Sade of Team TNA face off against Jacy Jayne, Jaida Parker, Sol Ruca and Lola Vice.
