A current WWE stars says that they questioned whether Solo Sikoa returning to the Bloodline is a ‘step back’.

On the August 10 episode of WWE Raw, Solo Sikoa was defeated by Jey Uso in the show’s main event, with the stipulation being that Solo would be ‘delivered’ to Reigns the following week.

With Solo gaining traction and fan support as a babyface in recent weeks, many were sceptical about the decision for him to rejoin the Bloodline.

However, it all ended up being a ruse, as Solo would stick his thumb in the throat of the Tribal Chief during the main event of this week’s show to a huge ovation from the crowd.

Tama Tonga Thought Solo Sikoa Bloodline Return Was A ‘Step Back’

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, WWE Tag Team Champion and former MFT stablemate of Solo Sikoa’s, Tama Tonga, spoke about the segment, with him admitting that he questioned if Solo rejoining the Bloodline was ‘a step back’.

“I’ve got so much love for Solo, I got so much love. I was very happy. I was happy to see that, I want Solo to show that he can stand on his own, and I think this was a glimpse of him showing, being defiant, that he can stand on his own.

“To be honest, him going back into the Bloodline I thought to myself ‘is that a step back, or is this a step for him forward’? I’m trying to figure out what it is, and to see him make that stance to just being him.

“I’ve said that to him ‘I think people really need to really see you’ and I think this is a nice glimpse at who he is, because he is very charismatic. There is a side of him I see outside the ring that nobody sees, and if the people can just get a glimpse at that, I think people can really appreciate him and his diversity in his character.

“That just takes into him making a stance. You wanna root for him, you wanna get behind him. Shoot, I wanna get behind him and just have him stand on his own. Which way he goes is all up to him and how he makes that.”
