A WWE Hall of Famer has said he hopes to see WWE purchase the TNA tape library so fans can see his matches in the company.

With WWE and TNA now working together, we have seen footage from TNA history of various current WWE stars be used on WWE television, including most notably AJ Styles and the Motor City Machine Guns.

However, many names throughout WWE history have also spent time in TNA, including Kurt Angle, who spent longer as a part of the TNA roster than he did as part of the WWE roster throughout his career.

Speaking on the Ariel Helwani Show, Kurt spoke about the partnership between WWE and TNA, saying he hopes to see WWE one day purchase the TNA tape library, so that WWE fans can see his TNA matches.

He said:

“I never thought in a million years TNA would be involved with WWE. It gives me hope because a lot of WWE fans didn’t watch TNA, and now that WWE and TNA are merging together a little bit, hopefully they do more where, I want WWE to buy TNA’s library, because then the WWE fans will see my TNA career.

“You have to remember I had 11 years in TNA, I only had 8 in WWE, so I had more of a career in TNA than I did WWE, and I’m hoping that eventually they will be able to buy the library.

“They’re only going to be able to do that if TNA goes out of business, and I don’t want them to go out of business, so I’m just hopeful that some day they’ll buy the library.”
