2026 WWE Money in the Bank winner Tiffany Stratton

At WWE Money In The Bank, Tiffany Stratton captured the Women’s Money In The Bank briefcase for the second time in her career.

However, during the match, Tiffany took a scary bump on the outside of the ring, with her hitting her head on the floor following a Swanton Bomb off a Ladder.

WWE announced that Tiffany had suffered an injury during the match on last week’s SmackDown show, but it seems she may not be out for a long time.

Tiffany Stratton injury latest following Money In The Bank

Per Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Tiffany was not at last week’s episode of SmackDown following the bump she took at Money In The Bank.

There was no word on how she was doing following the show, but she did an interview where she said that she was hurting after the show, which would mean WWE did not take her to a hospital to check for a concussion.

With Tiffany not being checked for a concussion, it seems as though any injury she suffered during the match may not keep her out for much longer.

An immediate cash-in upon return?

Interim WWE Women's Champion Chelsea Green and Tiffany Stratton.

Chelsea Green and Tiffany Stratton have been officially aligned together on WWE TV since June.

Even if Tiffany is already cleared for a return, it may benefit WWE to hold off on her return to create what would be an incredibly memorable cash-in when she returns.

Chelsea Green has been concerned about losing her WWE Women’s Championship in recent weeks, with her being temporarily at ease when her friend Tiffany won the case.

However, many fans are of the assumption that Tiffany will cash in her briefcase on Chelsea, turning heel and taking the title for herself when the time comes.

With Tiffany off television following her victory, Chelsea may feel a lot safer without a briefcase to worry about whatsoever, but that would lead to the moment where Tiffany returns to save her from being outnumbered, whether by the Judgment Day or Fatal Influence, only to stab the knife in Chelsea’s back herself and cashing in her briefcase in what would technically be her first appearance on the show as Miss Money In The Bank.

WWE will likely want the title on a heel for when Rhea Ripley returns, which will probably be Tiffany.
