Another update has emerged on the changes to the WWE announce teams with some absences and schedule adjustments recently.
Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett have established themselves as the Raw announce team for the the past few weeks, with Tessitore unavailable on Fridays for SmackDown due to college football season.
On SmackDown, it was originally announced that Michael Cole and Corey Graves would be the regular team for a couple of months, but Graves was recently written off TV via an attack by Brock Lesnar.
Filling in for Graves last week alongside Cole was WWE Hall of Famer and NXT announcer Booker T, who has now mentioned that he’s available to fill in for Graves again this coming week for the October 3 episode in Cincinatti, Ohio, implying Graves will still be out.
Speaking on his Hall of Fame show, Booker said:
“I know right now, he’s still recovering, so there’s a spot at the desk on Friday night. So I just want to make sure, if anybody needs to know if I’m available – I’m available. I just want to put that out there.
“I’m available to step in and do it just one more time. Because I ain’t gonna lie, it felt good. It felt good at the desk on SmackDown, the old SmackDown kingdom, the SmackDown world, a place, utopia that I had a hand in creating.
“So yeah, I just want to put that out there.”

After his SmackDown outing this past Friday, Booker was also on the call for WWE NXT No Mercy alongside Vic Joseph the following night on Saturday, where Ricky Saints defeated Oba Femi for the NXT Title.
