A new video promo for ‘Scapegoat’ Jack Perry aired ahead of his first match since AEW All In in August 2023.
Perry hasn’t wrestled since dropping the FTW Championship to HOOK on All In Zero Hour pre-show.
The former AEW Tag Team Champion was suspended following the show due to the backstage incident that took place at Wembley later that evening.
While Perry hasn’t appeared for AEW since then, he notably made an appearance at January’s NJPW Battle in the Valley event to attack Shota Umino.
A new video package for Jack Perry aired during Saturday’s (February 24) New Beginning at Sapporo show, with Perry once again referred to as SCAPEGOAT.
The video, which you can watch below, played following Shota Umino’s match, once again teasing a match between Perry and Umino.
Umino had previously issued a challenge to Perry, noting that he’d beat him anytime, anywhere.
Perry will be in action at the April 12 NJPW Windy City Riot event in Chicago, however his opponent has not been confirmed.
Another NJPW star recently commented on Jack Perry’s AEW status, which you can read more about right here.
