A former WWE star has officially re-signed with TNA Wrestling after originally arriving in the company late last year.

Last night’s TNA Emergence event in Baltimore, MD saw many notable moments, including the in-ring retirement of former TNA World Champion Sami Callihan and WWE NXT star Trick Williams successfully retain the TNA World Championship against Moose.

Outside of the in-ring action however, there was also an in-ring segment that saw former WWE star Lei Ying Lee sign a new contract with TNA.

As can be seen below, Lee was joined in the ring by TNA President Carlos Silva, Tommy Dreamer and Jazz, as well Lee’s tag team partner Xia Brookside and former TNA Knockout’s World Champion Masha Slamovich.

Sharing kind words for Lee ahead of offering the new deal, Dreamer said:

“She truly represents the Knockouts, her culture and women in general for her goals and what they should be as strong ass fighters.”

Lee originally signed with TNA in November 2024 after being released by WWE in April that year, ending a seven year stint in the company where she competed under the name Xia Li.

Since joining TNA, Lee has competed for the Knockout’s World Championship on several occasions but has not yet managed to capture gold in the company.

She and tag team partner Xia Brookside were unsuccessful in their attempt to win the TNA Knockout’s Tag Team Championships at TNA Emergence, with the reigning champions The Elegance Brand defeating them, The IInspiration and WWE’s Fallon Henley & Jazmyn Nyx in a four-way.
