Following their contract expiring, former AEW World Tag Team Champion Penta El Zero Miedo has appeared for another company.
As previously reported, Penta El Zero Miedo was finally removed from the AEW roster page on their website after his contract with the company expired earlier this week.
Ahead of his contract expiring, Penta was at the center of discussions after reports and rumours indicated that he had been in talks with WWE.
On December 7, Penta El Zero Miedo made his first wrestling appearance since his AEW contract expired when he showed up at the AAA Lucha Libre event on Saturday.
The former AEW star came out and led to the crowd in a “Cero Miedo” chant before cutting a brief promo for the live crowd.
This marked Penta’s return to AAA for the first time since November 2023.
Penta El Zero Miedo signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2019 and spent five years in the company. He held the AEW World Tag Team Championships with his brother Rey Fenix in September 2021 and the AEW World Trios Championships with Fenix and PAC as part of Death Triangle.
