Former NXT Tag Team Champion Danny Burch has made his return on tonight’s NXT.
Burch had been out of action with a shoulder injury since March. He and Oney Lorcan were NXT Tag Team Champions at the time of his injury, resulting in the titles being vacated. The titles have since been won by MSK.
Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan attacked Tommaso Ciampa on tonight’s show. Ridge Holland had just defeated Timothy Thatcher when Ciampa attacked Holland and Pete Dunne. Before he could truly run wild, Lorcan and Burch took him out.
Burch has been aligned with Pete Dunne dating back to last Fall when they teamed with Pat McAfee. While McAfee is no longer appearing on NXT, Ridge Holland has taken his spot in their faction.
