A new report has revealed a backstage update on Roxanne Perez’s reaction to TNA’s Jordynne Grace WWE NXT debut.
On the May 28 episode of WWE NXT, TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace was revealed as Roxanne Perez’s opponent for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Battleground.

Fightful Select (subscription required) provided an update, noting that NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez was among those who were legitimately surprised at Jordynne Grace’s appearance.
Perez’s surprise was at her own urging as those Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp spoke to said that Perez was adamant that she wanted to be surprised by her opponent at NXT Battleground.
The report notes that when Jordynne Grace popped up on the show, it was a genuine surprise reaction from Roxanne.
NXT Battleground will take place on Sunday, June 9 from the UFC Apex Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
