A WWE star made their TNA Wrestling debut on tonight’s episode of iMPACT (March 20), attacking a top champion.
After knocking off Cora Jade at TNA Sacrifice last week, Knockout’s Champion Masha Slamovich has now been targeted by yet another member of the WWE NXT locker room.
In the opening segment of iMPACT, Slamovich was confronted by Tessa Blanchard, staking her own claim for a Knockout’s Championship match after making an undefeated start to her second run in TNA Wrestling.
However, just as Slamovich invited Blanchard to step into the ring she was ambushed from behind by WWE NXT’s Jacy Jayne, in what is her first appearance in the company.
After beating Slamovich down for several seconds, TNA referees intervened and Director of Authority Santino Marella made his way to ringside with a big announcement.
Marella announced that Jayne will make her TNA in-ring debut at next week’s iMPACT (March 27), with Blanchard being banned from interfering in the match.
