A WWE Raw star has addressed her potential future in Hollywood after taking a break in 2025 to film her role in an upcoming movie.
In May 2025, Liv Morgan took a brief hiatus from WWE to head to Japan and film her role in Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo.
In an interview with Rick Ucchino of The Takedown on SI, Morgan said that the role pushed her out of her comfort zone and inspired her to “make the most out of everything”:
“It definitely just left me feeling inspired. I had left that movie set feeling like I had just made art. Not that I don’t feel that on a weekly with WWE, but it was just a different feeling.
“I had done something that was so out of my comfort zone, not something that I had been doing the last 10 years of my life. So I definitely came back just feeling very inspired to make the most out of everything.
“I do try to make the most out of whatever is give, but it really just made me feel a different way level of maximizing the seconds.”

While she’s keen to pursue more opportunities in acting, Morgan assured her main priority will always be WWE:
“Yeah I do feel like WWE is going to always be my main priority.
“I have such an unconditional love and appreciation and gratefulness for WWE. I’d given me everything good in my life. But through WWE, I’ve learned that I love to be a character.
“I love to channel whatever I have into being someone completely different. So, I’d love to do more movies and entertainment in that aspect and I feel WWE have been really gracious with me and letting me try these opportunities.
“So yeah I’d love to do more as long as it fits with my WWE scheduling.”
