WWE is seemingly putting consideration into a presentation change that would bring an end to a multi-decade aspect of AAA.
With a previous report noting that there were plans to bring AAA closer to the style of WWE, details have now emerged of another change under consideration.
According to WrestleVotes Radio, WWE is planning to update the AAA logo, which has been in use for decades.
Noting that this something that WWE is “strongly considering”, WrestleVotes explained the plan in more detail, stating:
“We are told WWE is strongly considering a re-design of the AAA logo, something that better reflects the company’s new identity under the WWE umbrella, while giving it a fresh, modern look.”
As for when the new design could be seen, it’s not expected to be at AAA TripleMania, which takes place on August 16, with WrestleVotes further explaining:
“We’re told we shouldn’t expect to see this logo debut at TripleMania this weekend. However, sources say it is absolutely possible we could see it revealed before the end of the year.
“So the iconic AAA logo, TC, that’s been around for years, has been known to be basically the logo of Lucha Libre Wrestling, is now going to change with WWE in control.”
WWE announced it was acquiring AAA over WrestleMania 41 weekend, with the first crossover event taking place in June of this year.
