A long-absent WWE star last seen onscreen in April 2024 could be set for an international event, according to a new report.
Former WWE Tag Team Champion Omos was last seen in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the April 5 episode of WWE SmackDown in 2024.
Recently, it was reported that plans for Omos to head over to AAA had been discussed, though no dates have been scheduled.
With a successful tour of Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan already under his belt, WrestleVotes Radio has provided an update on plans for Omos.
According to their sources, Omos fans could expect to see him as soon as the August 16 AAA TripleMania show, stating:
“We are told, in a follow-up from news a few weeks ago, we can report that Omos’ name has once again come up in AAA discussions with one source, mentioning that he could very well appear this weekend at TripleMania.”
Omos recently revealed that he had signed a new WWE deal and was “really excited about what is to come”.
At the time of writing, plans for Omos are yet to be officially revealed, although the AAA TripleMania show card is well construction and can be found right here.
AAA TripleMania XXXIII will stream internationally via the WWE YouTube channel on August 16.
