Two WWE stars have been confirmed for a television return, having recently undertaken a run in another company.
These stars are returning to WWE NXT having held championship gold while on their tour in Japan.
Hank Walker and Tank Ledger of WWE NXT headed to Pro-Wrestling NOAH in late October and would go on to become GHC Tag Team Champions, defeating Team 2000x (Masa Kitamiya & Takashia Sugiura).
Their time in Pro-Wrestling NOAH is now at an end, with Hank and Tank now confirmed for a WWE return.
In a video shared on the official WWE NXT Twitter account, it was confirmed that the duo would be returning on this Tuesday’s episode.
The video features a short retrospective of Hank and Tank’s trip, from leaving Dallas to their time in Japan.
It would be revealed that neither of the NXT stars had left the United States before, with both being excited to experience airline food.
We would also get footage of their GHC Tag Team Championship victory, with the WWE stars sharing that they will bring the titles back to NXT.
Sadly, that didn’t happen thanks to a loss to Team 2000X, who recaptured the GHC Tag Team Championship in late November at NOAH Cross Over.
HONK! HONK!
After a successful excursion to @noah_ghc, former NXT Tag Team Champions @HankWalker_WWE and @TankLedgerWWE return THIS TUESDAY on #WWENXT!
