At AAA TripleMania 32: Mexico City, a new WWE crossover partnership has been teased with the Mexican promotion.
AAA TripleMania 32: Mexico City was headlined by the Domo De La Muerte Mask vs. Hair Cage Match with Los Psycho Circus facing La Secta Cibernetica and Los Vipers.
With legendary luchadors like Murder Clown, Cibernetico and Psicosis involved, this marked a historic match that would see someone’s hair shaved or be unmasked.
In a special thank you message, WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio sent a special thank you message to his former rival Psicosis. Mysterio and Psicosis were involved in a memorable rivalry in Mexico, ECW and WCW throughout their careers.
Also, AAA booker Konnan came down to assist Alberto El Patron during his match against Nic Nemeth. Konnan wore a WWE Judgment Day t-shirt during the run-in.
Konnan has made it no secret that AAA would like some kind of partnership with WWE recently, similar to the one the company has with TNA Wrestling, Marigold and more in recent months.
WrestleTalk will provide further updates on a possible WWE and AAA partnership when they become available.
