There has now been a second title change at tonight’s August 24 WWE NXT Heatwave premium live event in Lowell, Massachusetts.
As previously covered, DarkState won the NXT Tag Team Championship from Hank Walker and Tank Ledger tonight, but there was another new champion crowned in the following match as well.
The match after the NXT Tag Team Title change saw Jacy Jayne – the NXT Women’s Champion and TNA Knockouts World Champion – put her TNA title on the line against Masha Slamovich and Ash By Elegance in a three-way.
Jayne is no longer a double champion, as it was Ash By Elegance who emerged victorious as the new TNA Knockouts World Champion.
Ash By Elegance was previously known as Dana Brooke in WWE, joining TNA in early 2024 after she was released by WWE in 2023.
Her win also means The Elegance Brand faction holds all the gold in the TNA knockouts division.
Heading into the match, Ash By Elegance and Heather By Elegance were already TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions.
It’s unclear whether Ash will hold both titles now, or if the other member of the group, M By Elegance, will assume the role of tag champion alongside Heather.
