TNA Wrestling star Joe Hendry has reacted to support shown by former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre, responding to McIntyre’s comments.
Hendry is currently making a name for himself in TNA Wrestling, following the Scottish star’s previous run on the British independent scene.
He recently made the news for his success with his I Believe in Joe Hendry single, which reached number 4 in the official UK singles download chart.
Speaking with Cultaholic, Drew McIntyre noted that he’s “very, very proud” of Joe Hendry, noting:
“I do believe in Joe Hendry, I do. He’s doing awesome and I’m very, very proud of him, especially, you know, getting the song so high up in the charts and caused as much buzz as he’s caused.
“He has deserved a big opportunity for a long time, and thankfully he’s been able to showcase himself on IMPACT and I’m sure it’s just going to keep going up and going up. The sky’s the limit, he can do it all.
“He’s very talented in the ring and obviously on the microphone. But the videos are next level, and I’m sure fans have seen the ‘I’m Drew’ video to the tune of ’I’m Blue’. If you haven’t then check it out.”
Hendry has now taken to Twitter to react to McIntyre’s comments, writing:
You have no idea how much this means.
