A WWE star has addressed several historic championship records he could potentially break, noting that he’s very locked in and focused on that.

At 22 years old, Je’Von Evans is currently the youngest star active on the WWE main roster.

Speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Evans spoke about possibly becoming the youngest ever Intercontinental, world, and Undisputed WWE Champions in WWE history.

Noting that this mission is at the front of his mind, Evans said:

“I am very, very locked in and focused on that, because I feel like I have an opportunity to recreate history, and it’s cool because, as I said earlier, I have so much time.

“To me, with these goals, I don’t have so much time. In general, I do, but bro, everybody’s trying to compete for something. So, of course, yeah. I have a year to be the youngest IC Champion, but I still gotta go through Chad Gable.

“I’m pretty sure Ethan Page wants that. I’m pretty sure Dragon Lee wants it. I want to be World Heavyweight champ. I’m pretty sure Oba and Trick want it. I’m pretty sure Seth wants it. I have people that I have to go through.”

The youngest ever Intercontinental Champion is currently Jeff Hardy, who won the gold at the age of 23 on SmackDown in April 2001.

“The Viper” Randy Orton currently holds the record for the youngest world champion in WWE history, following his World Heavyweight Championship victory at SummerSlam 2004, at the age of 24.

If we’re specifically talking about the Undisputed WWE Championship, the youngest star to hold that belt was Brock Lesnar, who was 25 when he defeated The Rock at SummerSlam 2002.

Two of the above wrestlers are still active, with Brock Lesnar announcing his retirement following his Hell in a Cell loss to Oba Femi at SummerSlam in August.

As Je’Von Evans pointed out, while he does have years in some cases to break these records, with how fast WWE moves and the lengthy storylines with long-term plans, it is possible that the rising star may not achieve any of these historic feats.

It would be very fulfilling to see Je’Von Evans break one of these major records, and that would certainly solidify him as a bonafide star rather than just another prospect.
