During the taping, KC Navarro revealed that he re-injured his knee at Slammiversary, so will need to have surgery on his ACL.

Following this, AJ Francis introduced the returning Rich Swann, noting that First Class is like the NFL, if one star is gone it’s next man up.

Tensions were teased within the faction following Rich Swann’s return, with Arya Witner of F4WOnline providing the following summary of the segment:

KC re-aggravated his knee at Slammiversary and will have to get surgery for a torn ACL. AJ told him that like the NFL, it’s next man up, so he brought out the returning Rich Swann. AJ forced KC to hold the mic for Rich and he didn’t seem happy about it.

Swann said he’s back to make the company TNAJ. AJ future endeavored KC from First Class. AJ called him a replacement and KC told him off. AJ said he’s been carrying 165 pounds of dead weight for 9 months. Before KC they were both champions, but KC lost constantly in First Class.

He even cost Trick the match last week and loses all the time because he’s a loser. Swann yanked KC’s crutch out, causing KC to fall on the ramp and eventually KC left and the segment ended.

Fightful reported in April that Swann’s contract with TNA Wrestling had expired, following a lengthy absence and a six year run with the company.

Swann last wrestled for TNA Wrestling on the August 29, 2024 IMPACT episode (taped August 3), unsuccessfully challenging for the X-Division Championship.

Rich Swann returned to the ring outside TNA in October 2024, and had been wrestling on the independent scene up until his recent TNA return.
