SmackDown’s Chelsea Green and WWE NXT’s Ethan Page have addressed their apparent new allegiance which formed on last night’s episode of NXT (August 5).
In a surprise appearance that took the fans in the Performance Center by surprise, SmackDown’s Chelsea Green and The Secret Hervice came to the defense of NXT North American Champion, and fellow Canadian, Ethan Page during a promo segment involving Tavion Heights.
Heights, who last week officially earned his release from the No Quarter Catch Crew by defeating Charlie Dempsey, confronted Page inside the ring before being interrupted by Green, Piper Niven and Alba Fyre.
According to Green, her intention was to come out to the ring and “support her countryman” by singing the Canadian national anthem, before Heights ruined her plans with his appearance – labelling him a “rude ignorant American” for doing so.
Despite the presence of The Secret Hervice, Heights managed to sneak in a punch on Page, much to the anger of Green.
Following the segment Green took to Twitter to share a picture of herself, Niven, Fyre and Page – captioning the post:

Ethan then replied to the post, agreeing with Chelsea’s statement:
