WWE veteran R-Truth has claimed the relationship between himself and AEW World Champion CM Punk is “cool”, a year on from him calling Punk unimpressive and entitled.
During his infamous 2014 podcast with Colt Cabana, CM Punk shot on R-Truth, and the fact he was booked to lose to Truth and Miz at Vengeance in 2011.
When he was reminded of these comments during a TikTok stream last year, Truth said:
CM Punk you lost to me and Miz cause we were HOTTER than you sorry, and I neva thought you were impressive at all, just typical entitlement.”
Now though, Truth says everything has been resolved and they’re all happy again.
Speaking in a new interview with Premier TV Live, Truth said:
“Me and Punk cool. I guess just for somebody like me with my character to come back at somebody like that in almost a negative way. It depends on when sometime I ignore s**t or whatever. But I will clap back stuff.”
Honestly, I’m not entirely sure what any of that means, but it sounds like they are cool, and that’s good.
