A new WWE Raw signing has been confirmed during tonight’s January 5 Stranger Things themed episode of the show in Brooklyn.
The past number of weeks have seen several NXT stars make appearances on Raw and SmackDown, including the likes of Trick Williams, Jordynne Grace, Oba Femi and Joe Hendry.
A name that has been appearing on the main roster shows longer and more consistently than any other NXT talent in recent times is Je’Von Evans.
Evans has had matches on both Raw and SmackDown while still working in NXT and even working some AAA shows as well.
Now, Evans’ next move has officially been confirmed as he has been called up from the NXT roster.
During tonight’s episode of WWE Raw – albeit during a commercial break – Raw General Manager Adam Pearce came out onto the stage and brought out Evans.
Pearce then handed Evans a contract to sign full-time with the brand, which Evans immediately accepted and signed.
In his recent main roster appearances, Evans has picked up victories against The Miz on SmackDown and Rayo Americano (Pete Dunne) on Raw.
