WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has shared his honest thoughts on WWE entering a partnership with TNA Wrestling.
With both companies officially announcing a multi-year partnership in January, Kurt Angle has now commented on the collaboration between the two promotions where he made a name for himself in pro-wrestling.
Speaking on Mic Check with Mr Anderson, Angle noted that he now believes that WWE will purchase TNA Wrestling’s video library, allowing younger WWE fans to watch his TNA matches.
Believing he had a better career in TNA Wrestling, Angle said:
“I was actually really excited, to be honest with you. I never thought in a million years, especially when we were competing against WWE, when Ken (Anderson) and I were in TNA, I never thought in a million years WWE would ever partner up with TNA.
“The reason why I love it is because I know eventually the WWE is going to buy the TNA library, and the WWE will own all the Kurt Angle footage at TNA, and the WWE fans are going to be able to have access to it.
“I’m going to tell you right now, I had a much better career at TNA than I did WWE, and I was there a lot longer, too. Most of my career was in TNA and a lot of WWE fans didn’t see me. Now I have the opportunity of having the fans being allowed to see me compete in TNA and perform.
“I know it’s going to happen eventually, I just never thought it would in a million years. Now that they have partnered and they’re both invested in each other, I think eventually they’re going to buy the library.”
