TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth has expressed interest in a title match against a major AEW star, pitching a dream match.
The former Dolph Ziggler became TNA World Champion at the July 20 Slammiversary event, winning a six-way elimination match to claim the title.
Nemeth has now responded to TNA Wrestling’s tweet asking fans who they’d want to see the new champion defend his gold again.
The former WWE star shared TNA Wrestling’s tweet with a GIF of AEW’s Kenny Omega, which you can view below.
Kenny Omega is currently out of action, recovering from a case of diverticulitis which hospitalized him in December 2023.
He last wrestled on the December 5, 2023 Collision episode, defeating Ethan Page in singles action.
Omega does have history with the TNA World Championship, with the AEW EVP notably winning the championship from Rich Swann at the 2021 Rebellion pay-per-view.
He held this title for 110 days before losing it to Christian Cage on the inaugural episode of AEW Rampage that August.
Nemeth recently took to Twitter to congratulate a WWE star ahead of SummerSlam which you can read more about right here.
