WWE SmackDown star Carmelo Hayes has reacted to his real-life fiancée Kelani Jordan winning the TNA Wrestling Knockouts World Championship.
With Ash By Elegance relinquishing the TNA Knockouts World Title at Victory Road, Kelani Jordan and Lei Ying Lee won a battle royal to determine which two stars would face off for the vacant gold that same night (September 26).
Jordan ultimately defeated Lei Ying Lee after 15 minutes of action to walk away as the new Knockouts World Champion.
The NXT star took to Instagram to share a photo of herself with her new hardware with the caption:
Knock Knock…new Knockouts Champion 😉
A number of notable names congratulated Jordan in the comments, including her fiance Carmelo Hayes, who wrote:
“Das my baby 🔥❤️ Congrats Champ!!!”
Hayes also shared Jordan’s post on his Instagram story.
Carmelo Hayes and Kelani Jordan announced their engagement in July, with Hayes getting down on one knee during a trip to Hawaii.
Both of TNA Wrestling’s singles world titles are now held by WWE names, with Trick Williams currently holding the TNA World Championship.
