A major update has emerged on WWE’s upcoming plans for a match involving Jelly Roll, Randy Orton and Logan Paul.

Musician Jelly Roll, who has made several appearances for WWE in the past including SummerSlam 2024, returned tonight on SmackDown in Nashville.

Jelly Roll was performing his song ‘Liar’ before he was interrupted by Logan Paul, who came to the ring to confront him.

Paul claimed that, as a full-time wrestler himself, he hates seeing celebrities and outsiders like Jelly Roll coming into the industry.

That prompted Randy Orton who come out and join them in the ring, as he was livid about Paul’s hypocrisy.

However, as Orton got in Paul’s face, he turned around into a Claymore from Drew McIntyre, who then quickly left the scene.

Paul then took advantage of a downed Orton, landing punches on him before Jelly Roll pulled him off and threw Paul down in the ring.

Paul then left up the ramp and smashed up Jelly Roll’s instruments on the stage.

In a backstage segment afterwards, Jelly Roll and Randy Orton agreed that Jelly Roll will be in Orton’s corner at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event tomorrow for Orton’s match against Drew McIntyre, in an effort to stop Paul from attempting to get involved.

Ahead of all this taking place on SmackDown, PWInsider had reported that Jelly Roll was planned to wrestle his WWE debut match at SummerSlam, which would be a tag team match with Randy Orton as his partner, and Logan Paul as one of their opponents.

The developments on SmackDown tonight certainly seem to indicate things are going in that direction.
