CM Punk and the Usos on WWE Raw

A former WWE star has explained why he didn’t like the Usos’ involvement during CM Punk and Roman Reigns’ Raw main event segment.

The main event segment of last night’s WWE Raw saw Roman Reigns and CM Punk go face to face once more, with the Usos also getting involved before the segment turned into a brawl.

The brawl initiated when Jey Uso would charge at Punk, leading to Punk dropping him before Roman Reigns would Powerbomb Punk through the announce table.

Did WWE Lose A Great Babyface In Jey Uso

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, former WWE star Tommy Dreamer discussed the segment, and why he didn’t enjoy the Usos’ being involved in it.

He noted that he believes the company ‘lost a great babyface’ in Jey Uso after his involvement in the segment, and believing that the fans are no longer agreeing with him.

He said:

“I did not (like the Usos’ involvement in CM Punk and Roman Reigns’ Raw segment), because I felt I lost a great babyface tonight, and I’m like ‘man I just lost Jey’.

“I love Jey, I love Jimmy too, and I love them as strong babyfaces, but when they stopped Yeeting I was like ‘it hasn’t run it’s course, because everyone is Yeeting in the crowd during his match, but now it’s like they’re no longer agreeing with him’.

“Will they be involved at WrestleMania with Roman? I don’t want to see it. They’re really teasing riding the Bloodline again. I don’t know if I want the Bloodline back, they’ve all elevated, and if you bring them back together, are they still as elevated?

“At the end of the day I’m torn because I feel like I lost my great babyface.”

Should The Usos Get Involved At WrestleMania 42?

With the Usos so heavily featured in the build to CM Punk and Roman Reigns’ WrestleMania 42 clash, many have speculated that they will end up getting involved in the match itself at the show.

The Usos’ involvement in the match could end up either way, either with them once again aligning with Roman Reigns to reform the Original Bloodline, or Jey Uso turning on Roman Reigns to cost him the title.

Either way, most of Punk’s promo content has been about Roman Reigns’ reliance on the Bloodline, so if the Usos were going to get involved in the main event, it should not be at the request of Reigns himself.
