Three WWE stars are set to challenge for the AAA Mega Championship, with Dominik Mysterio rounding out several WWE appearances at AAA Alianzas.
El Hijo Del Vikingo has been prominently featured representing Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, following WWE announcing its acquisition of the promotion in April.
The AAA Mega Champion’s next crossover challenge has been revealed, with Vikingo to defend the gold against three WWE stars in a fourway match at Triplemanía XXXIII on August 16.
After issuing an open challenge during the July 25 AAA Alianzas show, Vikingo was confronted by Dragon Lee. El Grande Americano quickly interrupted proceedings, getting physical with Dragon Lee.
Following this, a masked assailant ambushed Dragon Lee and Vikingo in the ring, before revealing himself to be WWE Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio.

AAA has now confirmed that El Hijo Del Vikingo will defend his gold against Mysterio, Lee and Americano in a four way match at Triplemanía XXXIII. You can view the graphic for this match below.
Triplemanía XXXIII will emanate from Arena CDMX in Mexico City on August 16.
