Former WWE star Ash By Elegance (fka Dana Brooke) has now won her first traditional championship in pro-wrestling.
While the ex-WWE name now wrestles for TNA Wrestling, Ash By Elegance didn’t win her first women’s championship with either of these companies.
Ash is now the WSW Women’s Champion, winning the championship at the June 30 World Series Wrestling event in Sydney, Australia.
The TNA star won a fourway match to become champion, defeating Frankie B, Lena Kross and Shazza McKenzie to win the gold.
This is Ash By Elegance’s first reign with a women’s championship, or any traditional title in pro-wrestling.
Her only other title success came in WWE where she won the gimmick 24-7 Title numerous times, however this belt was rarely defended in traditional matches.
Ash will get the opportunity to add to her belt collection at Slammiversary, where she will challenge for Jordynne Grace’s TNA Knockouts Championship.
The former “Dana Brooke” recently made a surprise WWE return to prevent Tatum Paxley from stealing the Knockouts Title during Jordynne Grace’s NXT Women’s Championship match at NXT Battleground.
Ash recently discussed backstage details surrounding this appearance, which you can read right here.
