TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth (fka Dolph Ziggler) has sent a message to The Miz following the announcement of his role at WWE SummerSlam.
It was recently confirmed that The Miz will be the host of SummerSlam, which will emanate from his billed hometown of Cleveland, Ohio this Saturday.
Ahead of the August 3 show, Nic Nemeth has congratulated his friend and former rival.
Sharing a photo of The Miz’ SummerSlam graphic on Twitter, the former Dolph Ziggler wrote:
Congrats to my buddy, Mike! #SummerSlam 💪🏽💪🏽
Nemeth, who is also from Cleveland, Ohio, had several feuds with The Miz during his time with WWE.
In one of their most famous showdowns, Nemeth defeated The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship at No Mercy 2016, in a match where if Nemeth lost, he would’ve had to retire.
The duo most recently shared the ring on WWE TV during the US Title #1 contendership six way bout on the January 16, 2023 Raw episode.
Nemeth was let go from his WWE contract in September 2023, and has since won gold in several promotions, including NJPW and TNA Wrestling.
Nic Nemeth won the six-way elimination bout for the TNA World Title at Slammiversary.
The former Dolph Ziggler recently addressed claims that Joe Hendry was buried during this match, which you can read more about right here.
