A WWE name has commented on his involvement in Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair’s promo segment on SmackDown.
The duo met in the ring on the April 4 edition of SmackDown, where things quickly became personal.
After talking about their upcoming WWE Women’s Championship match set for WrestleMania 41, Stratton concluded by referencing Flair’s divorce from Andrade.
Charlotte Flair fired back by stating that Tiffany Stratton’s real-life boyfriend Ludwig Kaiser was in her DMs, ending a very personal segment.
Wade Barrett – who was in the ring to moderate the segment – has now taken to Twitter to comment on his involvement.
Barrett wrote:
I wanted to be Sir David Frost. I ended up as Jerry Springer. #SmackDown
WrestleVotes reported after the segment that Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton were “off-script quite a bit” during this segment, with the duo reportedly saying very little of what was on the rundown for them.
WRKD Wrestling added:
“For anyone concerned or thinking otherwise: Charlotte’s divorce absolutely would not have been mentioned without clearance ahead of time.”
