During tonight’s airing of TNA Wrestling Impact, a current WWE NXT faction picked up the win in a six-man tag team match.
The No Quarter Catch Crew (Charlie Dempsey, Tavion Heights and Myles Borne) were on one side of the match while The Rascalz were on the other.
Well, sort of.
While TNA stars Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz were teaming, their third member was actually Kushida rather than NXT star Wes Lee.
The recently reunited Rascalz of course is the collective trio name of MSK (Wes Lee from NXT and Zachary Wentz from TNA) and Trey Miguel.
It was the NQCC who picked up the victory in tonight’s match against Wentz, Miguel and Kushida.
However, at TNA Wrestling Slammiversary, The Rascalz are set to be in full strength as all three members – including Wes Lee – meet up against the No Quarter Catch Crew again at the July 18 pay-per-view.
The NQCC had recently added a new member in Tavion Heights with Damon Kemp reaching the end of his WWE contract and the company informing him it won’t be renewned.
In storyline, Kemp was written off TV via being ‘taken care of’ by the other members who shoved him in the trunk of their car.
Another potential new member has emerged in the form of Wren Sinclair, who saw what they did to Kemp, and is threatening to tell everyone if they don’t let her into the group.
