A WWE star has come out of their match on this past Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown in Pittsburgh “very banged up.”
Friday’s episode of SmackDown saw WWE Women’s United States Champion Giulia face Tiffany Stratton in a match that was first advertised as being for the title, but ended up being non-title.
Giulia scored the win, but didn’t walk way unscathed.
In a new post on Instagram, Matthew Ennis shared video footage and details of Giulia’s workout today, explaining how it changed due to Giulia being “very banged up.”
Ennis said:
“Giulia came into her session today very banged up from her championship defense last Friday on SmackDown.
“Normally, this would be our full lower body day, but today was not a good day for that because she was in so much pain. Low back pain, knee pain, hip pain, shoulders, you name it.
“So instead of sticking to a rigid plan, we adapted today on the fly, and the goal is just simply to have her walk out of the gym feeling better.
“Thankfully, through a full body, activation, mobility, stretching circuit, we were able to achieve that goal.
“And now we’ll be more prepared to push harder tomorrow, and that’s a big thing for pro-wrestlers – depending on how your body feels, you may need to adjust the workout for the day.”

No WWE WrestleMania Plans For Giulia?
It was always unlikely that the WWE Women’s United States Championship would make it onto the WrestleMania card, and it does appear that might be the case.
While Giulia vs Tiffany Stratton was a possible option for Mania, that match took place on SmackDown and Giulia won, without a real path forward for the feud to continue.
If a Women’s US Title match does take place during WrestleMania weekend – whether it’s Giulia vs Stratton or somebody else – it’s probably more likely to be on the SmackDown before Mania rather than Mania itself.
