A WWE star is ‘unable to attend’ SmackDown on June 21 following a physical confrontation on the previous week’s episode.

On the Glasgow, Scotland edition of SmackDown prior to Clash at the Castle, Grayson Waller hosted a special Grayson Waller Effect alongside the co-holder of the WWE Tag Team Championships Austin Theory.

On the show was #DIY, who have been intent on dethroning A-Town Down Under for the titles since moving to SmackDown in the 2024 Draft.

During the segment both Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano attempted to get through to Theory following weeks of mistreatment from Waller, however, before that could happen a brawl would break out between all four men.

And now ahead of tomorrow night’s SmackDown in Chicago, IL Waller has taken to Twitter to address the situation – revealing that due to #DIY’s actions Theory has been forced to undergo some “pretty serious dental surgery”.

Waller said that due to the attack he’s unsure of when Theory will be back on TV.

The Aussie Icon would then poke fun at Ciampa for being a hypocrite for questioning his friendship with Theory, pulling up a video from NXT Takeover Chicago in 2017, the event where Ciampa famously turned on Gargano and split up #DIY.

This seems to be the latest development in a potential split between Theory and Waller, something that has been teased numerous times in recent weeks.

It remains to be seen whether Theory will in fact turn up on SmackDown despite Waller’s statement or not.
