Flammer’s record-breaking run of over 1000 days as AAA Reina de Reinas Champion came to an end at TripleMania, when La Catalina defeated her to win the title.
At Heroes Immortales this past weekend, Catalina once again defeated Flammer as well as Las Toxicas stablemate La Hiedra, with the two Toxicas members seemingly destined for a split soon.
With Flammer now out of the picture, there are a number of options as to who could be next for Catalina, including a current WWE main roster star.
Lady Shani
One weak point on the current AAA roster is the lack of depth on the women’s side of things, as Catalina, Las Toxicas and Lady Shani are the only women we regularly see on the show.
Shani herself has been spotlighted in recent months, with her also getting a shot at Flammer alongside Catalina in a three-way.
As the AAA women’s division is in it’s growing phase, Shani would be the easiest choice to slide into a title shot against Catalina coming out of Heroes Immortales.
Xena
After she departed STARDOM back in July, there has been a lot of speculation from fans about what could be next for Xena.
Xena is the real-life partner of Daga, who made his return to AAA as part of the revived Los Perros del Mal faction back in June, with him no reigning as one third of the AAA Trios Champions.
With AAA needing more women’s stars, and Daga being part of AAA, Xena could soon make her debut of AAA, and immediately target Catalina and the Reina de Reinas.
Roxanne Perez
At WWE Worlds Collide last month, Roxanne Perez challenged La Catalina for the Reina de Reinas Championship after earning at title shot in a four-way at TripleMania.
While Catalina picked up the win to retain her title, Roxanne would get the last laugh as she stood tall holding up the title, seemingly setting up a future rematch between the two.
Roxanne’s major hold up on chasing the title was her attempting to win the Money In The Bank briefcase, which she failed to do earlier this month.
With Roxanne now the only Judgment Day women’s member not holding gold, she could soon make her return to AAA in an attempt to hold the Reina de Reinas Championship.
