A WWE star has opened up on a recent title match they took part in on television, calling it the hardest match of their career.
Last week’s episode of SmackDown was the first episode of the show in 2026, and it saw a title change take place, when Giulia regained the Women’s United States Championship from Chelsea Green.
Chelsea initially took the title from Giulia back in November for her second reign, and Giulia has now opened up on last week’s match.
Speaking to TMZ’s Inside The Ring, Chelsea called last week’s match the ‘hardest’ of her career.
She said:
“Full disclosure, I’m lucky to have hair left after that match. I was limping on both legs. It was definitely a Japanese Strong Style match, and I’ve been to Japan.
“That was the hardest Japanese Strong Style match I’ve ever had, even after living in Japan and wrestling Kairi, and IYO, and Mayu, and all of the STARDOM girls.
“It was really, really rough, but at the end of the day isn’t that what we want out of a champion? That is what we want.
“Look, I think I’m the greatest first, fourth and final champion, however, I have to give it to Giulia because she beat my ass.”
