A WWE star has reflected on their new role on television that was announced earlier this week following a departure.
Last weekend, NXT General Manager Ava announced that she would be leaving the company, with last week’s episode of the NXT television being her final appearance as NXT General Manager.
On this week’s show, Shawn Michaels called Robert Stone into his office, with him being anointed the new interim NXT General Manager.
Taking to Twitter, Stone reflected on being named the interim General Manager, saying:
In this wild industry I’ve been part of for nearly 26 years, one thing has always been true: you have to stay ready for whatever gets thrown your way.
Never lose your drive. Never lose hope. If you put in the work, opportunities will come—and when they do, you’ve got to know you will knock it out of the park.
That same utility-player energy now rolls into my new role as NXT Interim General Manager. Proud to walk in the same shoes as “the American Dream” Dusty Rhodes, JBL and @RealKingRegal all have here in NXT.
