WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker

A WWE star has recalled a recent promo segment with the Undertaker that they called their ‘most risky work’.

Back in July 2025, the hosts of the recent series of WWE LFG all made appearances on NXT television to promote season two of the show, which included an advertised appearance from the Undertaker.

Taker would appear in a promo segment with then TNA World Champion Trick Williams, which ended with Taker laying out Williams with a Chokslam.

Trick Williams Says Undertaker Promo Was ‘Most Risky Work’

Speaking to SHAK Wrestling, Trick was asked to rank a number of bars he said on WWE television against other wrestlers, with a line from his promo being among the list.

Trick said to Taker:

“I’m glad you like to roll your eyes to the back of your head, because I might just knock your ass out tomorrow.”

Trick would go on to call the segment his ‘most risky work’, as he didn’t speak to Undertaker before firing the shot at him.

He said:

“That’s some of my most risky work, because true backstory on that, I did not talk to him before saying this. So I just threw it out there to see how he’s gonna respond.

“Of course I took a Chokeslam but it was smiles after that, so I think I earned his respect that night.”

Trick Williams’ Next Move After United States Championship Loss

At SummerSlam, Trick Williams lost his United States Championship to Baron Corbin in Corbin’s first match back in the company, before also losing the rematch on last week’s SmackDown.

While the decision has come under some scrutiny from fans, many see it as a way for Williams to move on from the United States Championship and further up the card on SmackDown.

Williams is reportedly one of the potential names in line for winning this year’s Money In The Bank Ladder match in New Orleans this October, which he would then have a year to cash in on either the World Heavyweight Championship or Undisputed WWE Championship.
