A WWE star has reacted after the latest tease that their tag team is set to potentially break-up soon.
On last night’s SmackDown (November 15), WWE Tag Team Champions Motor City Machine Guns defended their titles against The Street Profits in what both Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford hyped up as a must-win match.
Unfortunately for both teams DIY’s Tommaso Ciampa would interfere, attacking Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley and causing a DQ finish.
When Johnny Gargano attempted to calm him tag team partner down he would then be shoved to the ground, yet another tease that a DIY split is imminent.
The day after SmackDown, Gargano would react to the situation by sharing a photo of himself standing between Ciampa and Shelley – someone who he has been open to being close friends with outside the ring.
Gargano would not add a caption to go along with the post, so this one is up to our interpretation.
We will post further updates if/when Gargano or Ciampa comment on the current state of DIY.
It wasn’t just Ciampa who teased a heel turn however, as after Shelley and Sabin attempted to shake hands with The Street Profits, Angelo Dawkins would strike Shelley with a punch to the jaw.
