Joe Gacy has reacted after the Wyatt Sicks lost their WWE Tag Team Championships to The MFTs on the January 23 episode of SmackDown.
After over a month of back-and-forth between the two groups, The MFTs’ Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga challenged the Wyatt Sicks’ Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy to a match for the WWE Tag Team Championships on last night’s SmackDown in Montreal, QC.
Much like they did in the eight-man tag team match between the two groups on the December 9 SmackDown, The MFTs once again got the better of the Wyatt Sicks, with Solo Sikoa using Bray Wyatt’s iconic lantern as a weapon against Dexter Lumis, before Tama Tonga hit the Cut Throat for the win.
Following the loss, Lumis’ tag team partner Joe Gacy conveyed his dismay at the result on Twitter, writing:
No no no no no no no no no no no no no no
No no no no no no no no no no no no no no
Gacy and Lumis’ 196 day WWE Tag Team Title run was the longest of any main roster champion before they lost the gold on SmackDown.
The pair defeated Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins for the titles on the July 11 episode of SmackDown, successfully retaining them on five occasions during their reign.
