Jelly Roll on WWE SmackDown

A WWE star has sent a message to Jelly Roll after he was RKO’d by Randy Orton to close out last night’s SmackDown.

Jelly Roll competed in his second match in WWE on last night’s SmackDown, with him scoring the victory over Kit Wilson.

However, Jelly Roll would also make an appearance in the closing moments of the show, attempting to intervene in the brawl between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton, which saw Jelly ultimately eat an RKO.

The Miz’s Message To Jelly Roll

When Jelly Roll returned to WWE television two weeks ago, he did so on an edition of Miz TV, where The Miz attempted to offer his ‘Miz Method’ mentorship to Jelly, before Kit Wilson would interrupt.

Taking to Twitter, Miz sent a message to Jelly Roll, commentating over the video of him being RKO’d.

The tweet said:

You called me a locker room loser… But I’m not the one laid out on replay. I offered mentorship. You chose ego. Randy Orton chose timing. Guess who was right. #MizMethod #MasterInspireZoneIn

In the attached video, Miz said:

“I offered the Miz Method and if you used the Miz Method, that wouldn’t have happened. Master, know your surroundings. When Randy Orton is in the ring hearing voices in his head, you’re not the voice of reason. Inspire, elevate your awareness not your ego. Zone In, eyes up, focus, and you don’t eat an RKO.

“I offered you mentorship, you declined, and now you’re the highlight for all the wrong reasons. Class dismissed.”

Jelly Roll’s Role At WrestleMania 42

After being RKO’d on last night’s SmackDown, it seems as though Jelly Roll will remain a key part of the storyline between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton heading into WrestleMania 42.

Jelly Roll has appeared multiple times in WWE, with fans commending his commitment to the industry, including his recent incredible transformation, which was in part motivated by a desire to wrestle for WWE, which he first did at last year’s SummerSlam.

However, WWE should try and keep Jelly Roll’s involvement in this year’s WrestleMania main event build to a minimum, as to not tarnish what is a highly anticipated clash between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton for the show.

After fans were left burned by Travis Scott’s one off appearance in last year’s WrestleMania main event, WWE should be hesitant in putting another celebrity in such a major spot.
